About Imani Waters, Esq.

Attorney Imani Waters joined Gee & Lee initially as a law clerk while she attended law school. She subsequently accepted a role as an associate attorney upon completion of her legal studies at the Florida A&M University College of Law. Uniquely, Attorney Waters entered the practice with a wealth of knowledge and experience, which is uncommon amongst first year associates. The headstrong Attorney Waters knew her destiny was to become a lawyer since her days as a high-school student at Lowndes High School in her hometown of Valdosta, GA. Therefore, Attorney Waters consistently aligned herself with learning and experience-building opportunities in the legal profession. She clerked at over 5 law firms during her time as an undergraduate student and as a law student, helping each firm organize, expand, and better serve their clients at each stop. She also served as a law clerk for Chief Judge Laurel M. Isicoff in Federal Court.

During her tenure as a law student at FAMU LAW, Attorney Waters achieved numerous accolades for an exceptional academic record. She was named the business editor of the Florida A&M University’s law Review. She was a participant in the American Bar Associations’ Client Counseling Competition. She also served in various capacities for the Black Law Students Association, International Law Society, as well as The National Bar Association. Upon graduation, Attorney Waters was recognized as a top 10 graduate of her class.

Attorney Waters credits her family and her hometown Valdosta upbringing for her unique combination of a tremendous work ethic, humble demeanor, and passion for helping others.

Attorney Waters takes cases across the state of Florida, which focuses on Personal Injury, Premise Liability, and Civil Litigation.
